Rock Climbing Courses

Complete Mountaineering offers the following rock climbing courses:

Indoor climbing taster session:
A chance to give climbing a try at an indoor climbing wall. This is a 3 hour session, costing £69 for up to 3 people at a climbing wall in the Newcastle Upon Tyne area (Note: harnesses will be provided and the price does include climbing shoe hire and entry to the climbing wall).

Outdoor climbing taster session:
A chance to give climbing a try at an outdoor crag. This is a 6 hour session, costing £109 for up to 2 people at a crag in Northumberland (Note: harnesses, helmets and climbing equipment will be provided).

Learn to climb indoors:
Covers the basics of climbing on an indoor wall including: putting on a harness, tying in, bottom rope belaying and basic climbing techniques.  This is either one 6 hour session or two 3 hour sessions, costing £109 for up to 3 people at a climbing wall in the Newcastle Upon Tyne area (Note: harnesses will be provided and the price does include climbing shoe hire and entry to the climbing wall).

Learn to lead outdoors:
Covers the basics of climbing outdoors on crags including: crag & route selection, placing gear and setting up belays. This is a 6 hour session, costing £139 for up to 2 people at a crag in Northumberland (Note: harnesses, helmets and climbing equipment will be provided).
